FixWise AI / case-based troubleshooting
When the guide does not quite match your problem.
Describe an unresolved repair problem. Answer only the questions that change the advice. You can optionally show the affected area and receive a structured troubleshooting plan with clear safety boundaries.
FixWise AI case-based troubleshooting for everyday repairs
FixWise AI helps when a standard repair guide does not quite match your appliance, electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, or surface problem. It turns the symptom and useful context into a calm next-step plan. It does not replace emergency services, manufacturer instructions, or qualified local professionals.
Start with the symptom
Plain language is enough. Add the device, model, timing, and what changed when you know it. The workflow asks for context only when that detail can change the guidance.
Use the camera only when useful
Camera inspection is optional. You can continue with text, choose a photo, or open the camera for an error display, affected part, or model label. Do not capture personal documents, payment cards, faces, or an unsafe scene.
Know when to stop
Possible gas, smoke, flames, sparks, shock, hot outlets, flooding around electricity, or swollen batteries are reasons to stop. Move away from a hazard when safe and contact the appropriate emergency or qualified service.
FixWise AI repair troubleshooting questions
Do I need a separate FixWise AI account?
No. FixWise AI uses the same FixWise account and Google sign-in as FixWise.online.
Is camera access required for a repair plan?
No. Text-only troubleshooting remains available. Camera inspection starts only after you choose it.
When should I stop troubleshooting?
Stop for a possible immediate hazard or when the plan recommends qualified help. Do not keep experimenting with unsafe electrical, gas, combustion, refrigerant, structural, or safety-system work.
